it doesn't make ANY sounds. the mobo just loads up its usual batch of (extended) tests, everything is fine, and I can restart it. Windows boots up normally, no problems, etc. so i'm writing it from the computer in question. His name is Lappy. And he's a cheap 5 dollar hoe. Drac
