I just looked at the reactions in the Bryce forum. I had no idea this could be taken so negatively. These people need to calm down a little. It is not like you are commenting negatively on pictures without the approval of the authors. Like I said in my IM, you can use whatever you want from my gallery. I respect that kind of attempt as I am getting tired of the usual stream of 'amazing' comments for poor quality images. I don't believe they help their author in any way. I have been thinking about ways to give a critical point of view about an image without the 'troll' factor you can find in the galleries. You approach is interesting - I am curious about the result. An interesting idea I found on another site was to open the floor to an image to be criticised openly in the forum itself, not in the gallery.... some kind of 'shooting range' for work in progress or completed work. I am considering trying that out as a regular feature of the forum (weekly maybe) but I am still going through the details. I don't want it to open the door to more flame wars. I live in the USA, so calling you on the phone would be costly for at least one of us. I would rather stick with email if it is the same with you.
