Well, when I installed the free version of Zone Alarm, I had to go to all the bother of unchecking the 'search for updates' box. Boy, that was hard work! Then there was ANOTHER box to uncheck about 'send me details on new products'. I was just about exhausted after all that.... Sorry, millman. I'm not trying to be funny at your expense. I have a slightly warped sense of humor, so just ignore me. Seriously, if you go to the DAZ store to browse, there's no obligation to do anything other than look at the pages. If however, you want free software, I suppose DAZ would like to at least keep track of how many people have taken an interest in it. That's the reason for the log-in, I guess. But it's worth it. The app works very well and you can opt out on any DAZ promos or mailshots. mac
