Subject: Saying Thanks to DAZ

I've still got some issues with some of the things DAZ has done recently, and some of the decisions they've made, BUT... Just because I don't agree or think things could have been handled differently does NOT mean I am a "detractor". Fact is, I've been a DAZ customer since before they were DAZ, back when they were still part of Zygote. Some of my files actually still have "Zygote" on the installer (I know because I recently had to reinstall a bunch of stuff). For the most part, I've gotten quality products and good service. There have been times when Customer Service was lagging (DAZ admitted as much at the time), but lately I've always gotten a prompt and polite reply when I've had to write regarding anything CS related. I believe that SOME of the issues that have come up recently are based on the fact that DAZ is changing some of their direction and have started to try to change some other aspects of their business for the sake of making the business grow. "Growing" a business is a good thing. Making mistakes while doing it is probably also inevitable. It is my sincere hope that DAZ has and will continue to LEARN from their mistakes and blunders, and that they won't be repeated. That's all you can ask from anyone, whether it's a company or a person. And other than that, I'm still a customer, and I still dump a great deal of my money in their till on a regular basis. I will almost certainly continue to do so for the forseeable future. :-) There's my $0.02 on the subject. bonni
