The transmapped hair, as I've seen it so far (and I only got my hands on this thing a little over an hour ago), is excellent. I /haven't/ tried posing the tail yet, and I'm dubious about the foal's tail, but other than that I'm impressed.

The textures I've looked at so far are pretty good too. The only quibble so far is that the veins are quite strong on some, so they're not good for a horse in winter coat (when the veins wouldn't show), and I'm not sure they look quite right on the foal.
