Neil, your steps seem sufficient to produce motion blur. But, it is sometimes difficult to know whether there is some small key step that you are missing. So, since I know I can get motion blur to work, why don't you send the scene to me . Set it up so I just have to click the render button and I'll see if I get motion blur. -Karl
