Subject: Three Newbie questions.

#1. You can use Lock Actor as described by Ockham, but I offten find that I have to lock and then unlock several parts to make adjustments, then lock them again. In these circumstances I parent all the parts of the set to Minimal Figure (one that has no or very little geometry). Once all the parts are parented locking this Minimal Figure (Figure > Lock Figure) will also lock all the props attached to it. I can also move, scale, rotate, or delete, all the props as a unit by performing these actions on the the figures body actor. You can make a Minimal Figure by using the Hierachie Editor to convert a Poser SQUARE prop into a figure, then load the new figure, hide the 'square_1:1' actor and resave the figure to a pallet. A variation on this idea is to use a text editor to completly remove the square_1 actor from the file leaving only the BODY actor.
