ah, if we are talking dark beer, the only one here in N. Alabama that is reliable (not foul due to poor transportation) is Anchor Steam's Porter....Mmmm, porter... BTW, steve. The heavy morph looks really good. Great dress! eric

Steve, This is a great dress, and I'm grateful that you made it. However, there is a problem with "separation" between the skirt and corsett. This problem is happening with standard and morphed V3s, however is is much worse with the latter. V3 is standard, pose is DAZ V3 Backturn. Can you fix this, please?

Steve, I'm "This close" to joining Poserworld. It would help if you had descriptions of the items in the Preview section of your site. Believe me, it's almost impossible for me to figure out what you have without those product descriptions. I prefer to visit your site to see the entire preview catalog, rather than sift through several months of product announcements here.

steveshanks ( ) posted Mon, 19 April 2004 at 2:31 PM

I'll get that sorted ASAP nakamuram...Bobbie its a case of what you see is what you get, if its in the images you get it, without Vicky, Mike etc of course ;o)....now don't think i'm casting your suggestion aside coz i'm not but it would take so long to add descriptions i could have a dozen models made ;o)....i'd opt for a short subs to see whats in there, working on the principal that your bound to get $20 worth, then see how you feel.....Steve

The problem is that I can't tell if you're selling clothes for Vicky 2 or Vicky 3, Mike 1 or Mike 3, or "Dork or Posette" for that matter. And if you have a figure standing in front of the building, is the building a part of the package or not? Actually, you could economize on your efforts, and maybe even copy and paste from the messages you leave here, and put the info over to the Subscription Preview site. It don't take long to do something like this: "This month features a lovely dress, matching hat, for Vicky 3, an outfit for Mike 3, etc." I'm really leaning in your direction because it appears you've brought out a wealth of stuff for the new DAZ "version 3 characters." But it would help to have a clearer picture.

*scrambling to keep up* ..... guess this one is next on my operating table ... colour requests anybody? *grin* Bobbie - the preview images are a little confusing I agree, but if you ask nicely Steve or I can convert most any clothing items in PW to the model you like. Right now we seem to be concentrating on the newer popular figures, but Steve still does clothing for older models as well And just to add a little more incentive for you, you do know I've signed on at PW as the resident texturist? A little taste of something to come .... soon at PW :)

Bobbie, As a satisfied customer, I can tell you that a lifetime (No, you will not die tomorrow!) PW subscription is well worth it. I am very happy with the V3 and SP3 clothes that PW has created. What is really cool is that they come out with some items that you normally don't think of, like the Missionary's Daughter and the 60's Dress. Join, you will not regret it.

It don't take long to do something like this: "This month features a lovely dress, matching hat, for Vicky 3, an outfit for Mike 3, etc." this is exactly the type of message members receive from steve when a new item is available.... but it's for members - though there are items available for free downloads, too - on the public homepage. cheers!

Lyrra and nakamuram, I very much appreciate your input. Lyrra, I recognize your name over the years, and know you'll do great work. I know Steve does great work. I was not around to see Rena's replacement do her work, so I've missed something there. I just need to know what I'm looking at. Money is tight, and I can think of a dozen things to spend $50-100 on. It's likely a safe bet you're doing stuff for all the Millennium Figures, including "Version 3." I have the Version 3 characters, but their closets are rather sparse. I confess to being somewhat torn between nostalgia for Poserworld's bounty, and my desire to finally find an "arena" where my talents can be recognized. My direction could well go beyond Poser. I'm tempted to learn programming just so I can get some software that really makes sense to my own mind. No matter which direction I take, know that Poserworld is "top notch" in my book. Congrats to artists such as yourself who've managed to make and maintain a good reputation in "the Poser world."
