Thought for the day Out of interest.. how well known and used is Poser, does anyone out there know approx haow many users there are of Poser.. is it viewed as dare i say "a toy" or are there serious users

Many so-called Pros still think of it as a toy, but that is changing and will change even more once the ProPack is released. ChrisD is one of the few cell animators out there that uses it as an aid in his work. He takes it seriously. How many users of Poser are there? I'm not sure, but this site has over 29,000 members. -JH.

I think that the Pro pack has the potential to attract the Pro's. You looase the Kai Krause interface, get 3D-Card support and can use skripting - sounds impressive to me.

last i heard it was about 60,000 thats sold though the user figure will be a lot higher.........Steve
