I know everyone is always very fond of bashing P5, but it has been stable here for ages. (Yeah well shame about the OS which keeps killing itself once a month.) Poser is on Drive E here (Due to the suicidal OS), the original runtime is all that is in it. I then have a "P5 Runtimes" Folder on Drive F, which has folders for V3, M3, Freak, Critters, Dragon... etc etc. Each of those contains a "Runtime" folder where I install stuff to. I then simply add those folders in P5, and hey presto - no worries. What this allows me to do is shift that runtime around to a bigger drive if I have to, it also lets me shift P5 around if I have to. (And in case you didn't know... you do not have to reinstall P5 if you stick it elsewhere and your C drive is formatted. It works just fine after a format / reinstall of C, if it sits on another drive.) I actually considered getting myself a nice firewire external drive to put P5 on. Then I can take it anywhere and even run it on the laptop without worrying about space. I've not tried it, but I bet it works.
