2 things - I think you're under-evaluating firefly. Try setting some of the parameters higher than "draft", the wolf fur texture should come out much betetr IMHO. Secondly, Poser doesn't use the GPU. At all. Ever. It doesn't ask Direct3D to do any of the 3D work. At all. Ever. Under any circumstance. That's the whole reason people complain that if only Poser used the GPU it'd be faster or that the working view would be more representative of the final images. Because it doesn't do it. It'll work with an old TSENG-Labs SVGA card, or an S3 Trio 64 (I know, I've run Poser 4 on an S3 Trio64 with IIRC 4MB of RAM). There's some interesting times coming up - stuff we've seen coming since at least when Poser 4 got released (I wasn't a part of the Poser scene before then). It's all evolution which is plodding along based on lines visible then, but so far Curious Labs have simply not taken any of it on-board. Time, I think, to depart the thread :( Cheers, Cliff
