Wow, that's , uhh, different! I have a DVD player too, and that's never happened. But,".vob" is a Vue "Object", right? Just as clicking on a Wavefront .OBJ file won't automatically open a 3D program though, unless you specifically tell your OS to do so, is that really surprising? You didn't mention your OS, though. I'm using Windows 98 SE, and I know with that you can specify file associations, if you want to. Cheers, Mike
