Catlin_mc, Poser [4] has a special pallet called "Faces" that saves morph dial settings for the selected character's head. It only saves the values for the targetGeom (morph) channels, other types of channel such as scale, rotate, taper, are not included. The file extention for Face files is FC2.
FC2 files are the easiest way to save and distribute morph dial settings for the head. Of course as Face a file only saves the dial settings, the appropriate morph channels must exist in the character that Face file is applied to.
If you have included morph channels in a pz2 (pose) file and want to remove the morph settings for the head, you can use the free utility Morph Manager 4 to stripp these channels out. IMHO Morph Manager 4 Is a must have for anyone who uses Poser. Mat Pose Edit is another free utility that can do the job.
