Cheers for the replies lads. I'm running Win98SE as well Mike. You are right Mike (I'm not going mad), I was only trying to explain how the associations had been made by mentioning the clicking of the ".vob" object files. Like I say it hasn't caused any problems, it is just a little disconcerting to look in the Vue d'EspritObject folder with Explorer to find all the files being associated as movie clips. You are right Karlm, if you look on the MPEG files on a DVD they do have the ".vob extension. The reason they are associated with my DVD software is so that a DVD movie will auto-run when I insert it. I would think it's a case of what come first - the Vue ".vob" file or the DVD MPEG Codec.
