Hi guys thanks for all your well wishings, am feeling alot better than I was but can't stare at the screen for very long at the moment. Riddokun, you aren't far from the mark actually :) as another of my hobbies I practice Lau Gar Kung Fu and was in a match last weekend which ended up in me misjudging a block resulting in my injury. I've had my cheak reconstructed now so on the way to recovery :) thanks again for all your concerns :) talk to you soon
i could handle being a poser character, need a tan?......change maps. gain some weight?......just turn your morph dial to thin again!.......lol the3dzone :0)

All for the price of being able to be as tall, thin, short, fat or square as you (or rather THEY) want (you) to be. ^_^ I think I'd rather not be a Poser character. When I think of all the things that I do to them... wouldn't want that going the other way around. Muahahhahahaha... Take care, Nanoshi. Hopes you gets better soons.
i will try shoes soon, and see what i can come up with. they will most likely be a freebie :0)

hehehehe Just my little joke about Anime, it is such a varied genre with films about almost every thing and every subject, you guys seem to obcess over the schoolgirl stuff though, :) hmm let's see what's some good Anime movies/series to watch. Anything by Shirow:- Dominion Tank Police Appleseed Ghost in the Shell Black Magic M66 Akira Crying Freeman Record of Lodoss War Vampire Hunter D Doomed Megalopolis Devil Man Bubblegum Crisis Bubblegum Crush Cowboy Beebop Tenchi Muyo Heroic Legend of Prince Arislan Monster City Wicked City Venus Wars Angel Cop AD Police Cyber City Oedo 808 Geno-Ctber Roujin Z Outlaw Star Sailor Moon Robotech/Macross Legend of Crystania RG Veda Zeram 3X3 Eyes Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend Fist of the North Star Guyver Patlabour 1 & 2 Dangaioh Project-Ako Ultimate Teacher Violence Jack M.D. Geist Golgo 13 - the proffesional Lensman Tokyo Babylon Winds of Amnisea Winds of Honneamise Odin Ranma 1/2 Ninja Scroll They where 11 Neon Genesis Evangelion Mad Bull 34 Magic Knight Rayearth Mobile Suit Gundam Gundam Wing Oh My Goddess Dragonball, Z, GT Nadesico - Martian Successor Wars Perfect Blue Dirty Pair Gunsmith Cats Battle Angel Alita That's the ones I can remember I seen so many, but they are all good and from all subjects, so it's fun to diversify a bit :)
Come on Nanoshi, I was joking, you know. Men are not only walking testosterone tanks... On the other hand, you "blame" us guys for the hentai/schoolgirl genre, and you select "Urotsukidoji: Legend of the Overfiend" in your list... tsss tsss tsssk... ;) More seriously, my favourite is Silent Mobius (I'm a big fan of the cyberpunk genre, I mean the "Blade Runner" genre, not the techno-gothic). Roujni Z is a close second, with its very poetic metaphor on the replacement of human feelings by machines and the solitude of old age. Akira, the Bublegum suite (AD police, Bubblegum crisis, Bubblegum crash), Armitage, GunnM, Crying Freeman, Ghost in the Shell and Apple Seed are in my first division. On a lighter note, "You're under arrest" is quite fun. "Darkside Blues" and "Forbidden city" have a darker tone (and there are a few hentai scenes in Forbidden city as well), but I like their overall mood. Well, that's all I can think of for the moment.
hehehe I don't mind the schoolgirl stuff, and I like horror stuff hence the Urotsukidoji. Ah, how could I forget Silent Mobious, yes I love that too, and especially Cyberpunk style stuff too, forgot all about Armitage, another good series, and Devil Hunter Yohko. hehehe there are so many :) I think we all should create one between us and do characters and images for it. maybe we should do a story in the gallery by passing the action on to each other like a creative tag or something lol, might be fun. I still fancy working on my future sport scenario when I'm better maybe we could take a character each from a 'Glaive Ball' team and do a series based on their exploits on and off the pitch during a season.
I have: Tank Police Vampire Hunter D Rayearth Evangelion: Death Rebirth Downloaded first two episodes of Evangelion dubbed (hehe...toothpicks...hehe...poor shinji) Animatrix Pokon 3 (i have yet to get 1 and 2, and whats all this about Ash wearing a new costume, is aw pics, and i'm confused...new movie? Series?) Spirited Away (my more recent one ^_^) All of Star Ocean EX (series 1?) subbed on VCDs And Final Fantasy: The SPirits Within (does that count?)
whoa I've missed a whole lot! get well soon Nanoshi! forgive me for being a little off topic, but this has been bothering me for hours and you're the only ones that I know of that I think would know... I was playing unreal tournament 2004 yesterday and I got to thinking... "Wouldn't it be cool to have some battle force senbotsu models running around in here? is there anything anyone has seen that can help me out? what is involved in converting a poser model to a game model? specifically, an UT2004 model. now that I think about it, I have quite a few poser models besides my darling anime doll that I'd have a ton of fun playing with in FPS games. I realize that I would probably have to dramatically reduce some poly counts (one of the few 3d modeling terms I know =P) to get it playable, but I think that's a small price to pay to be able to customize a player model with poser =) again, gomennasai for the curve ball
There is some software Triggermansam which lets you do various figures from 3D formats for game characters like UT. I don't remember what it's called off hand as I don't play FPS's that much so never got into the character making side, but I have some friends that do that so will make some enquiries for you.
Nope SenshiTaurus, They still reside in my head at the moment as with the rest of the stuff I started working on before my system crashed. at the moment I am stuck useing my old machine that is way smaller than the one that crashed, but the good news is there is a computer show next week,so I'll be building a bigger better system one that can better handle my 12 gig poser folder and lightwave, plus the rest of the stuff I need to get back into buisness again. after I'm back up to par,I have a nice new anime doll character package that I'll be giving you all some peeks of. her name is Simone, and I think you'll like her :0) The3dZone

whow nice suit, insomnia. i really thought we were nearly coming back to summer; need to get back texturing, myself :) nice boots too grimjerks... well for the bringing 3d characters to UT2004, i saw on a forum that some converted the 3ds/dead or alive characters back to this game, so i guess that as poser files are even as complex to export (bone system, joints parameters, groups, etc) as 3ds ones, it could be possible.

3dzone, you're playing with my heart... I'd support the opinions on the first dress : it looks like a killer, but the cloth should not be so close to the body unter the chest and on the groin area. As for transfering a Poser character to URT, may be that Milkshape3D works : it is the program used to make SIMS. Off topic : my Poser HD controler is dead... I won't be able to use Poser for the next few days... BOOOHOO ! You know what : I'm unhappy. I'll try to teach myself a bit of Cinema 4D instead.
Great start on that dress :) I can't wait to see more of this stuff available to play with! OK question out there for the modelers... what in your opinions is the easiest 3d package to learn? I have been trying to learn 3dsMax, but so far it has been a bear to learn... any suggestions?. also has any one looked at doing JCMs for MD/AD her self? I bought the maglev cycle the other night for a cyberpunk render I've been building in my mind, I got MD in to her catsuit, got the boots converted, posed her to the cycle and her poor little tush just looks horrible in the pose :( Grim
Well, Rhinoceros has been quite easy for me to learn. You may want to look at that. Also Wings3D is pretty easy. May want to also look at Shade... and the umm... oh! Metasequoia. Like the shorts there. Love the pasties. ^_^ Battering Ram looks pretty decent. Don't forget to make the ropes swing with the ram part when you do it. Some other anime titles that you may or may not have heard of/seen that are definitely worth checking into: Azumangah Daioh...<--- a MUST see Kanon...<--- Sixth Sense-type of story Kiddy Grade...<--- fun, light-hearted action with a dark side DNAngel...<--- pretty cool series G-Riders...<--- too cute for it's own good Pita Ten...<--- probably my next character build Super Gals...<--- butt-kicking valley girls Galaxy Angel...<--- seems to be shaping up nicely
Thanks, I'll look in to those! I just finished watching Read or Die, kind of an odd premise but I enjoyed it. Two of my favorites by far are Noir and 3x3 eyes. Others I enjoy: Cowboy Beebop Trigun (I love the humor in this one) Iria Outlaw Star Witch Hunter Robin (haven't finished this one yet, they licenced it quick so the fan subs may not get finished) Seems like the ones I like the most are the more off beat ones (at least for anime) like noir and R.O.D.
I believe that the easiest modeller to learn is Rhino3D although,I myself had a hard time with it because I use lightwave, and they are quite different. I tried 3d max before and I think it is as hard to learn as lightwave has been...lol The3dZone
