Hi Dani - Vue and Bryce use the same file extension *.mat for their material files, so it depends on which you've installed first. On my system, Vue mats reads as Bryce mats, but I've never had any problems with it, and you shouldn't either, as long as you keep the two separated (i.e. know which is which). The problem with the "black" materials, I guess, should be found in the location of the bitmap and function source files. Did you by chance move them to a folder/location of another name?
