*sigh* This and the other topic that is was spawned from is getting rapidly out of hand. I loved the WW tv show growing up, I continue to love the comic book( I am a 35 year old mother of three kids so dash an images of a teenage fan boy) and I feel the version of WW be they the tv version, the slender Simpson version, the silly Sergio Argionnes(sp?) and even the latex big boobs versions are expressions of artistic imagination. I mean really, you are attacking other people's works because it's "not Diana"!? For heaven's sake, the creator of WW (Moulton I believe his name was) had WW as fetish piece to begin with. If you look at the first run of the thing, she's always being knocked out, tied up, or having catfights! Over the years, she's been stuffed in every kind of style that was fashionable at the time, be it body suits ala Mrs. Peel or strange wonder biker outfits. I myself have several different versions of her if you wish to look and it never ceases to amaze me that people accuse me of being sexist with some of those versions...but it's the nature of the beast with particular character. And I find it annoying that images are being critiqued not for flaws in actual tranmission of the idea, or for any violations of tos(which there isn't) but a knee jerk reation because it violates your precepts of what this character ought to be in your minds eye. I believe there is are two words for that...censorship and repression.
