Or add a magnet to the clothing part with the poke through and pull it over the body part. I use this method when I can't hide the underlying bodypart. You can also make a transmap for the underlying figure for a more precise hide of it. This happens all the time, it's pretty much the nature of the beast. I've got a set of hide/show poses for each body part I use when it happens, and one for each material zone too.
