Thank god for cut and paste on this one, lets try again! HAPPY BIRTHDAY SENSHI :) One note I forgot to put in. I didn't convert the stockings on the Cathrine Dress, I just used the stockings/Gaterbelt from MD Sexy Lingerie. I had already gone in and split the pieces up and remapped the stockings to take the textures that Bluebeard made for spanki's V3 stocking and didn't want to do the work again. I don't really have any working magnet sets. there seems to be some big inconsistancies when it comes to converting clothes to fit MD and any sets thay I have tried to make only work on that one piece. I have a couple basic magnet sets that I use, one for the short boots that I posted earlier and a small set that makes aome minor shape changes to the hips and thighs. For the most part every figure is done from scratch. One of the things that I have figured out, a morph set really won't work, if nothing else the hip/buttock is way to different. I beat my head against that wall for a long time till I finally gave up. I was so happy when BAT released some updates to his figures to include MD and found that he had seperate OBJs for MD. What I do for the most part is this: I scale the body of the figure, for a V3 to MD conversion its roughly 90%, that tends to put the crotch (if there is one) in the correct place (almost all of this is done on conformed btw). I tweak the individual X Y Z positions on the body and individual body parts till I'm as close as I can get to a fit, its usually not very close at this point (I think this is where I lose the ability to use a magnet set, this tweeking spot). I Then apply magnets to the areas that don't have symetrical problems, but are well hidden by MD mesh. I then export the mesh to OBJ selecting all of the optoions except morph target. This is where I get a little wierd I guess, and also another reason I can't use mag set. I import the figure (unchecking every thing and checking weld) and I check to see if the model will work in the cloth room (most don't for this purpose, clothing objects with lots of trim, like marty's cat suit or almost anything BAT does need to have portions of it constrained IE the trim, and you don't want to constrain anything at this point). Assuming the OBJ is clothroom compatible I then scale the obj down just enough for a lot of it to be just barely hidden by MD mesh and re export/import (you have to do this or you end up losing alot of your cloth work, you have to export/import after every change). Set up Key frame on frames 1 and 20, on frame one scale MD down so that she no longer connects to the obj mesh, you may have to scale individual body parts, not the entire figure. after clothifying the obj and setting collision depth and the other setting at the top to .25 and cloth density to .0001 run the simultion. If things work out you'll have a fairly well fitting obj. Export/Import. At this point whether the obj worked in cloth room or not, is where I do most of my mag work. For some reason on MD it works better to do mag work here. I found it easier to get the hip/buttock/back to work right if I work on the whole model as an OBJ then on individual body parts on a conformed figure, But this is the other reason I don't have working magnet sets. Whew! Some time I can do a figure in an evening, some times... I have to say tho... I learned alot about magnets doing this. Oh, I usualy do thigh/leg/breast work on the cr2 figure, not the obj, there is a python script in the freebies section that does a symetrical magnet clone that helps ALOT!
