This is not a ground for purists to thrive in, lol Giger actually threatened to sue the producers over that Dog -- part of the reason the aline looks like it does is the conceptual nature of it -- Giger is obsessed with small details, and quite literally every single element of the Alien was concieved as part of the whole to make it into the single most effective killing machine ever envisioned. TBKoen made one, but did not include redistribution rights. It is currently still available through a yahoo group download, though I do not recall the link. The file always scans as having a virus in it, becuase of a movie contained within it, but it is safe. Nortons kills the file everytime, however, lol. It's a pretty cool figure.
