Don't we like rendering with zero lights? ;^) That is a stylish composition. Hmmm... It almost looks like a crossbow with bolt engaged, but the hat is wrong for William Tell. Carolly BTW, did you get my email of a couple weeks back? Moth antennae?

Redfern ( ) posted Thu, 29 April 2004 at 8:04 PM

It's gotta' be an unofficial tie-in with the upcoming film "von Helsing". Sincerely, Bill

Looks like Ironbear has taken all he can stand.

I was SO hoping someone would tackle this! ;) a female van helsing vampiress would be pretty nifty as well...

I was thinking Van Helsing, too. The hat's lovely already ;-)

SAMS3D ( ) posted Fri, 30 April 2004 at 5:36 AM

I agree with BrokenAngel9, looks like Van Helsing.

Thanks everyone! Here is a rendered Preview :)

Gareee ( ) posted Fri, 30 April 2004 at 9:11 AM

Ok, now I want to see it dumped into clothes convertor, and put on Koshini 2.. LOL!

Holy Dang...that crossbow's to die for! As is the rest g

Gareee ( ) posted Fri, 30 April 2004 at 4:42 PM

I noticed some artistic license was taken with the crossbow...

Great all the way around, this is a gorgeous set, and I think this is my favorite of all your weapons, excepting perhaps your Bladez series.

compiler ( ) posted Sat, 01 May 2004 at 7:03 AM

Are the other weapons in the set at RDNA from the upcoming movie too ? (I love the syringe thrower design, but I'd like to know if it is derived from the film before buying it).

Gareee ( ) posted Sat, 01 May 2004 at 8:20 AM

I think they are similar, but not exactly the same. Check the movies's website, and they have prototyoe images of the main weapons. then check RDNA's. Plus, I'm sure they didn't want to get hammered with copyright infringement.

compiler ( ) posted Sat, 01 May 2004 at 8:34 AM

I had the answer from Traveler who told me his weapons had nothing to do with those in the movie. (well, same inspiration, but not the same design at all). Thanks for the info : I'll check the movie site. As for copyright infirgement, an image can be screwed without copyright infrigement if someone says "hey it looks so much like so-and-so movie !" when you thought you had done an original work. I have gone through this with an outfit at Daz' that was directly derived from the movie "Underworld", down to the stone the heroine was standing on...

Gareee ( ) posted Sat, 01 May 2004 at 8:38 AM

You mean "Celeste"? I think that's an awesome outfit!

compiler ( ) posted Sat, 01 May 2004 at 8:56 AM

Sure. But it really is very much like in the movie (and the stone looks copy-pasted). Nothing wrong with that for me (I've bought the African Queen boat), but they really should give a warning : customers cannot be expected to know every movie or series...

Gareee ( ) posted Mon, 03 May 2004 at 6:51 AM

I like the initial look of that. If textured right, it'll be killer. I kinda of liked the RDNA stuff, but it was kind of like wat Daz did with the Relic Hunter stuff.. you needed to buy 3 items to get one complete set.

Oh, his spinny pump blades would be a cool prop as well...

***Ok, now I want to see it dumped into clothes convertor, and put on Koshini 2.. LOL!***

Well, not K2 but K anyway. Going to convert to fit Krystal and Ichiro too :D

Gareee ( ) posted Mon, 03 May 2004 at 8:16 PM

Now THAT'S cool! Glad I got clothes convertor. I'm surprised brokers haven;t started converting thier items, and making them available for different characters yet!

Mea ( ) posted Mon, 03 May 2004 at 8:54 PM

If that thing ends up fitting Ichiro as well, must get! :)I've been trying to fit a longcoat on the poor boy forever. :D -Mea

Gareee ( ) posted Mon, 03 May 2004 at 9:15 PM

Well, I imagine if it can fit to Koshini, that it could fit things to ichiro...

That's VERY good! Now I want to see Ichollum, and Icholas!

Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice.

lhiannan ( ) posted Tue, 04 May 2004 at 11:35 AM

:D I'll never have any free time if you keep giving me ideas. I do have the High Fantasy clothes from Daz, so maybe tonight I'll see what I can do. Actually, M3's clothing converts extremely easily with the Clothing Converter. It's almost a 1-button process. Ichollum (or is it Smeachiro?) could be done with Maniken :) Now why didn't I think of this during the Tolkein Remembered contest?

Gareee ( ) posted Tue, 04 May 2004 at 11:39 AM

That would have been a cool idea! A Koshini Galadriel, and maybe a Freak Balrog?

lhiannan ( ) posted Tue, 04 May 2004 at 11:48 AM

No more ideas! (No sleep for me tonight, I see) :D LOL!!! It's good, I've been kinda uncreative lately. Now I have something else to obsess over for a while.

astrumlux ( ) posted Fri, 07 May 2004 at 1:58 AM

Once again I wish there was a Mac version of the Clothes Converter. Ichiro looks great in that coat. :P
