There are some lenzes specifically made for the DSLR. But the entire normal range of Nikon will work on the D70. But you got to remember to multiply the focallength by 1.5 (the Canon is 1.6) So a 50mm lens becomes 75mm. Essentially it crops a the picture in the middle, so it's a mystery to me why the image would blur to the sides. This would mean that analog bodies would get very blurry sides, since they see more of the lens. As I understood it, the shutterlag is actually less on the D70 compared to the 10D. As a D70 owner I can tell you that pressing the button=taking the picture, it's instant. If there is any difference with the Canon it's probably only measurable, but for the life of me I can't detect any lag :)
