You want to make props, terrain, cartoons ... many apps can do. You want to tell a story about people, Poser's the only game in town under five figures. the application is only the central part of a aggregate of contributing artists in a whole community built around the application. Sort of like the power train, frame, and wheels of a car... you can drive it off the showroom dirt cheap ... the rest of it you build as you want it when you want it. OBTW: Multiple screens cut down on the working space. You can move around the scene with the curser without changing cameras.
