Subject: Texturing Question - Tiled texture to Untiled texture

Coupla more tips. It's easy to spot tiled obj files because, when you open one, uv mapper will tell you it has out of range uv coordinates. Don't correct them, just let it load and do it yourself. The tiled material will be outside the uv mapper 'frame'. What you have to do is select it, then shrink it. You can do this by either pressing the / key on numpad, or by pressing SHIFT-minus (the minus key on the numpad). Shrink it until it's inside the screen area, then save the obj (maybe with a new name). mac PS I also make architectural models and I avoid tiled textures like the plague.
