One of the most successful fantasy franchises at the moment is Harry Potter and that features teenagers as the primary protagonists. Those were my thoughts as well. I can think of so many possibilities for the children. For example, besides Harry Potter there are Dorothy (of the Wizard of Oz), Alice in Wonderland, Anne of Green Gables, Laura Wilder (of Little House on the Prairie fame), the Hardy Boys, and so on and so forth. Kids are GREAT for storytelling, and also for the "Americana" style art made famous by Norman Rockwell. However, I think we have the "sex sells" battle to fight when it comes to Poser stuff. The more popular items are geared toward that niche, and that's a hard niche to beat. 8-) Sci fi and fantasy are popular, and that is why you see those products being first on the shelf.
