Another alternative is to get the free utility P3dO Explorer from senosoft. With it you can click on a cr2 thunmbnail and it will tell you what mesh and textures are assigned and their location. One quirk though, if you have P4 and P5 installed, it likes to tell the report using P5. I ignore that since I know I haven't installed to P5.
