Rodolfo, You may want to look into the link I am leaving here. An electronic watermark that embeds itself in an image. This way you can track any of your images and locate them no matter where they are on the web. I personally find it offensive that people right click and save others works here, without first asking. I have never once right clicked and saved anyones work from this site, or any other for that matter, it simply is a matter of respect for me. Another saftey precaution that you really need to be doing is registering your copyrights on your works. It really is rather easy and inexpensive. You can register photographs in large quantities for only $30! For the bulk registration, your photographs must be organized under one title (example the works of Rodolfo Ciminelli 1999-2005) For more information contact the Register of Copyrights, Library of Congress, Washington DC 20559 or you may call them at (202) 707-9100 and ask for "form VA" (works of visual art). Also, be sure to mark all of your work with the copyright symbol, this prevents the excuse "I didn't know" which is a common defense that thieves use. Now once your copyrights are registered and your digimarc in place, if you find someone "using" your work, you contact a lawyer. If this person is making money from your work you are entitled to all of it and then some. Have a wonderful evening all! Brenda :)
