Yo, DAZ! Are you listening? I've been trying to download the new Sanctum Art RDL7 bundle all day, but 2 out of 3 fizzle out after a chunk of 15 to 40 MB has come down the pipe. Problem with the files?? This is the Mac .sit version I'm trying to d/l. Thanks for any help you can give! texboy

Make sure you have enough disk space on the drive where your cache is, particularly if your using IE (try clearing the files from Internet Options).

The DAZ server looked like it was feeling the strain yesterday. When I was downloading RDL7, there were lots of short breaks in the data flow, and variations in transfer rate, so you might need to try again when you think there will be fewer people connected (very early morning perhaps).

Hope you're on DSL or broadband, those are some hefty files to be trying to download by dial up

I wouldn't even have tried if I was on dial-up, though given how slowly the files downloaded, I might as well have been. Fortunately I got everything in one try per file, but I'm going to have to let my nerves settle before I think of getting the hi-res textures.

From the popups, the standard res looks pretty good too so wait a bit to get the hi res, you may hit them on a slow day :)

As expected, DAZ came through on Monday with a flurry of emails from tech support, and the downloads were a breeze at 87 kb/sec (DSL). Thanks again, DAZ!
