Yes, a FAT32 drive will remain FAT32 when you upgrade to XP.
I'd recommend that you try Poser and PBooost together with this setup first... some systems behave just like Win98 and never lock!

If you DO get locks then you can convert the drive to NTFS from windoze. The easiest way is to type 'convert' into the 'Help and support' search box... then follow the instructions on screen. It does take a leap of faith to hit the 'go' button... butas long as your power stays on, you'll be fine. LOL!

You'll definately notice the difference in speed and reliability of XP... even if it is a bain for programmers!
