Had you thought about adjusting the underlying colour of the skin to change the skin tone? I almost always change this, and get a lot of variation from a limited set of textures. It's not really possible to lighten a texture within Poser (although you can do so by pulling it into a painting software package), but you can darken it and add overall colour tone.
I believe there's a utility available in the Marketplace for changing the object colour (the underlying skin colour) this way without changing the texture map applied, and some textures come with MAT pose files to apply underlying shading as well as applying the texture itself. It's almost as easy to do the same thing in the Render Materials window or the Material Room (depending on your version of Poser).
That way you could pick a texture that gives the right youthful look, then shade it to get the skin tone you want. :)
