Released today at RDNA ala Traveler and myself, an entire forest of pine trees! Starting out with my favorite (oh, who am I kidding, I love them all) the Alpine pines. Huge towering trees that will bring your Poser landscapes a new standard of realism! Reasonably priced and with typical Old Wood modularity, all textures are cross compatible.

What we do in life, echoes in eternity.

Next up are the New Pines. Baby trees with sparse growth. Note: they scale wonderfully to big pines that look like they haven't got quite enough soil nutrients. Another definite scene enhancer!

And next we have trimmed pines as you would find on a tree ranch. Again, all modular with ample texture options! Each set comes with 2 bark and 4 branch textures made specifically for the set.

How about the mega-pack?

12 tree geometries (4 of each)
8 bark textures
12 branch textures

I'm lousy at math or I'd let you know exactly how many trees that is.... will you take my word if I just say ALOT!? Naturally, this set will take previous Old Wood bark and bough textures too.

Thanks for taking a peek, hope you all have a great rendering weekend!

Trav and judith

Thank you dialyn!

Sheesh I'm lousier at math than I thought. Typo on the bark textures in the mega-pack, there are acutally 6.

::double checks fingers to be sure:: Yep that's right. Gads, I just love this new edit feature!

Well, I was so happy to see these that I ordered every tree and the megapak too. I probably wouldn't have noticed the dubplication without this posting. Samething happened to be with the V3 and M3 dusters and textures. I really need to pay better attention to the fabulous combos.

Thanks! We do them as we can, exceptions being massively huge files (usually over 30M) or non-collaborated items.

Dialyn!!! :) You guys are killin' me here! Got the cabin tonight.....but at least one of these sets will be on my list very soon (the cut pines for sure). Seriously Judith, these are so "real", that as I looked at the promo pictures I could damned near smell the pine needles! And you know how much us Minnesotan's love a pine forest!! Now....quit "vegetating" and get back to work :) Hehheh!

wyrwulf ( ) posted Fri, 21 May 2004 at 11:50 PM

These look great. A "forest fire" texture and morph would be a great addition.

Nature rules!! and yes, you guys certainly know how to put together a whole bevy of various packages, but no one does plants and such quite in the way you achieve, showing off Nature in all her wonderous glory... these just shine...

Wonderful. I especially like the older trees. They have a lot of character. :)
