Although useful for still images as well, these dynamics properties are particularly useful for animators. At least that's their main intention in OTHER applications. That's why I say P5 is more attractive to animators. The actual animation CONTROLS may not have been improved, but the addition of dynamics (even though I can't seem to get the hair to react to collisions correctly) makes a world of difference in animation.
