BlueRose - is it possible to provide a link to the type of thing you want to do? That way it'd be easier to say if it's possible in Bryce :o) It sounds like it should be easy enough to do, using a terrain, by a combination of tweaking in Photoshop, and using the Square Edges button in the Terrain Editor (drag to the left to lower the edges). I agree with Ang25, Wings is a great program, well worth learning.
