anybody know of a cr2 editor that works. thanking you in advance

I scratch on cave walls with rock and sticks...... (Point being here is that you can use just about anything to edit a CR2 file.)

Sixus1, how do you get Victoria 2 into Notepad? I have tried putting Victoria 2 in the 'Open' dialogue, then bashing it in with a large slege hammer, but this just broke my monitor :( I can fit it into WordPad, but WordPad sucks as a text editor. Scratching on cave walls with with a bit of flint or a burnt stick works better, but I prefer using a real text editor like EditPad, or a cr2 editor like CR2Builder.

I don't do DAZ characters, only ours. :) But point taken, for I had a couple of characters that were in development with full on mody morphs (like a women into a werecat) that choked notepad dead cold. So, I used MorphManager to rip out the morphs while I worked on the CR2 and when finished added them back in.... I have tried to use CR2 Editor, but it threw off my rythm... Rebekah

I use NoteTab Light. Freeware, excellent text editor, and you can do multiple files, so you can do universal search and replace if you want. bonni

Hey, rhythm I mean.... Does notetab handle extremely large files well ? If so, I might have to give it a try.

I've opened some very big files in it. Last one I tried was 34,682 Kb, and it was fine. ;-) You probably want to tweak the settings and preferences so that it doesn't save a .bak (backup) file, though. I found that to be a huge pain in the neck until I figured out I could turn it off. bonni
