not realy drucken...the same texture on thats on water plane is on ripple plane and since I have them grouped it meshes nicely. The only MAJOR limitation to my technique is the water transparency....it can't be =O( because then you see the edges of the ripple plain....I havent tried raising transparency on ripple plain but Im sure it would show anyway....highly reflective water surfaces a must with this technique. when ripples intersect it will look great. For interference ripples (like what happens when it hits a rock) I guess I would edit the terrain image to be a "wedge" of ripple or whatever and use same scaling technique to created a new type ripple around rock. Great project to work on!
