"Can we ever expect to see Mike 2.0 upgraded and supported with products?" M3 is the upgrade to M2, so I'd say yes, you already have. M3 is the upgraded version of M2. M4 will be the next version of M3. It's sorta like windows versions -- the old ones are still sold, and sometimes there will be stuff for them, but it's the new ones that the focus is on.
