Out of curiosity you are working in P4 not Pro Pack right? I wonder, since P5 seems to work fine for you if it's not the BUM file bump map (if there is one) that is just too big to handle, bum files contrary to jpgs are notoriously huge. Have you tried rendering it with another character's bump map for the head?
