So Poser actually starts up but then you can't do anything? Other people know more, but I've heard this sort of thing in relation to the Poser main rsr file (in your top level Poser directory) getting corrupted - perhaps it got corrupted in your crash, and did not get over written when you reinstalled. I'd uninstall poser, delete all files and directories related to poser by hand afterwards, possibly check the registry (I'm assuming you're using Windows) and remove any remaining poser related keys, then install again - preferably to a different disk if you can.
