First, the "can't open obj". If there is any justice in the world, CL has gotten SO many tech support messages about this. Poser 4 just loves to eat certain RSR files over and over, and no one knows why. What you can do is open Poser, load up your figure, then once he's in there successfully, close Poser. Assuming no errors, go find the RSR file, and set its file properties to read-only so that Poser can't eat it again. Now, the map issue. By any chance, are you using windows 98? High res maps or standard res?
