I'm no engineer but I do agree that it would be difficult to get around on 3 legs hoping the spiked heels doesn't sink into the ground first like a pylon. Then agaiiiin this is science fiction.... engineering aside, I would say in a scenario true to early 1900 imagination. The Nautilus looks tempting tho....
