Hi Xantor, Poser 5 does ask to reboot when installing it originally. It does not require it after installing the figure updater or the patch though. I just do it out of habit I suppose. This brings another point though. In order to get around the anti-piracy thing that comes with the original installation (un-patched), that was causing folks so much trouble in the beginning,I had heard it was best to "NOT" launch the program until after the figure updater and patch(s) were installed. I did it that way every time. I can say that I have successfully installed Poser 5 last year when I first got it,without this problem. Since then (in September),I reformatted and thins only happened after that. Weird. Thanks again Tom
