Cloe, if you click on that little 3-coloured square where you select the base colour, you get another type of palette, and that palette gives you the option to sorta save your own colours. That way you can be sure to apply the exact same colour to both head and body. They're separate because they have each their map. I THINK MAT poses for V2 and M2 will work on the Poser 5 characters (I assume those are the ones you are using, or you would have an even BIGGER problem, V3 has 2 different mat zones in her head (head and scalp) alone and loads of them on her arms and legs which is why MAT poses comes in so handy. But on the P5 people it is more simple, and by using the "hidden" palette it is easy to do.
