Hey there good peop's, this is the BigSerge HotRod. It's my first spline model, I need help on how to make a good looking set of wheels for this roadster using the spline modeler in Carrara. Your help and comment appreciated. Love and Peace Serge

If you go to egroups.com and join the Carrara Forum, you can download Patrick Martin's Tutorials (you may be able to get them somewhere else). There's an excellent Tutorial for Mag Wheels.

Also, in the Carrara free stuff section here, I uploaded a wheel that is made completely in the spline modeler. The egroups turtorial is for a Mesh Model. Either one works ok.

Looks pretty cool, I cant really see the lines on it though. Just keep at it , it's really pretty easy once you get the feel for it.Keep on rendering! I'm still fighting with the vertex room, so for now I'm making vertex objects in Ray Dream and importing them into Carrara. Will a patch to end the frustration ever happen, let's hope for the best and keep on crafting our art. Ya know Ray Dream ain't so bad after all, at least it's fairly stable, tools, tools, tools. Over and out.....Kaom
