Can't agree more with Dreamspinner. Spin any number of wheels on this subject. UV Mapper allows a number of different choices in how an object is mapped under the Edit menu. Different objects react differently to planar, box, etc. I've tried each one until I found the one easiest to deal with then saved both the text and the object. The text needs to be converted to full color and the object saved an reimported into Poser so that the text you made will work on it.
