I have Bryce and Vue. I like them both. If you are just purchasing Bryce, the cost thru daz is $59, platinum club members $41. I have Studio installed and using the plugin it imported the object fully textured into Bryce with no fuss. It also imported the object in Vue, just had to tweak the eyes a bit, and it imported fine into Carrera. Some things I prefer to do in Vue, and others in Bryce. The cost is not prohibitive for Bryce, $59 > Vue $300. It depends on what you want to do. They are both excellent programs.
