No reading stands? A library should have a couple of different ways to hold books up at an angle for reading: flat or winged, and they should be solid enough to support an encyclopedia or other reference tome. Most such libraries would also have a very large winged holder for prints or plates from a subscription series (think Audubon). In addition to being decorative displays, these also indicate that the owner has enough wealth and taste to be a patron. Carolly
