The exporter does a good job, the main problem with it is the bump maps come in as a separate texture and the map is not placed in the middle window, so there is no bump until you copy and paste the bump maps to the middle window. With D/S, some of the changes made to secondary figures & props ( cloths and such ) are not recognized by D/S and revert back to their default position when the PZ3 is opened in D/S. Another con is, when the obj is exported out of D/S, it generates new texture maps. So if you have a figure set up with high rez ( 4000X4000 ) tex, trans, bump. for the figure and cloths, props and so on. They can quickly start taking up space on the hard drive. Example I have a folder I created to save the PZ3, OBJ, and texture, for these figures to be used in Bryce. So far I have 4 figure ( most fairly simple ) and the folder reports as being 133 MB, So you can see where saving the duplicated texture maps can soon add up to lots of space on the old hard drive.
