I would COPY and Paste the whole thing; verify that the new "installation" works correctly on several different items.

Then, and only then, would I CUT (or Delete) the original folder.

But, then, I go for weeks on Windows 2K (at work) and nearly a month on Mac OS X (at home) without crashing and/or restarting. (Not necessarily bragging; it's just that my "old woman" habits seem to pay off.)
