Subject: 4.03 Update and people (like me) who want to use 2+ machines to render?!?

The free "ZoneAlarm" personal firewall software will stop P4 from being able to do it's network check, every time. (As long as you set it to do that) I only noticed this by accident, because I had the ZoneAlarm program running the first time I launched P4 after installing it.
