I'm not a builder so I could be wrong, but I think the tiles on each side of the bricks would overlap the flashing. Other than that, it's coming along fantasticly.

@MuddyGrub-you are right,I thought it seemed a little wierd.I will lower the bottom metal part,below the shingles as suggested.I will try to add wires and stuff connecting to the house..as well as leaves...but the leaves may or may not look good I'll run some tests.Thanks for the comments, I will probably need help soon..lol.

that is a real cool image. i might add a wooden frame atop the two brick walls making up the window. the transition to the roof tiles is just too.. je ne sais quoi :)

Muddygrub is right..the flashing would be let into the mortar between the bricks at some point....

One slight nitpick on top of drac's observation, there needs to be a frame completely around the window. A real window would not rest directly onto the bricks comprising your sill. Also is this window intended to open? Nice job so far though!

I think I would remove the shingle tips projecting from the dormer base. the flash would typically cover this part. One tip is to imagine how water will run down and NOT get under the shingles, etc.
